The gift of sisters is one that is priceless. I should know, I have 5 (and one brother). Even sister-in-laws are special.
These sisters are the younger half of the family – all very close. One month before the oldest of them was getting married that came to my studio for a gift to their mother. They surprised her. How beautiful (and thoughtful!!!!) is that?
It’s true that if you’re in NY and you look outside today you’ll see a layer of fluffy white stuff…

This session was one of the wildest I’ve experienced. We were scheduled to be at the beach at sunset – about 10 minutes into the session grey clouds come rolling in and we ran for our lives. Being an adventurous family, they opted to continued the session in the beach club house. We were all soaking wet by the time we were done. It was a lot of FUN and we got some great shots.
The first year is the greatest – but knowing what I know now – the best is yet to come! Here’s to you A & Y and many years together filled with laughter!

Blogging is a full time job. However, I am also a Mom/Wife and photographer. Sometimes the blogging gets pushed to the very last on the list. So I’ve decided that I don’t have to overthink the post – it doesn’t have to be a full session or have much dialog. Just the photo.
